FC 25: First Week SBC Recap & Ultimate Edition Benefits

Introduction

As the official release of FC 25 is just around the corner, Ultimate Edition players have already been exploring the game for several days. To give you a better idea of what’s new in FC 25 in week one, we’ll use this article to tell you the first week’s SBC and provide valuable advice for you.

1. SBC Player Overview

The most notable SBC players this week include Ángela Sosa, Navarro, Watt, García, and Danjuma. Here’s a detailed breakdown:

Ángela Sosa:

This female player requires three squads, including an 84-rated squad, which may be too expensive for most players at this stage. While her passing and dribbling are standout attributes, her 3-star weak foot is a significant drawback, reducing her practicality in-game. Recommended skipping.

Navarro:

Cheaper than Sosa but limited by his chemistry links. Unless you’re building a specific squad, such as one involving the Swedish striker Gyökeres from Primeira Liga, this card may not be worth it. Most players are better off passing on this SBC.

Watt:

Requires just one 83-rated squad, making it a budget-friendly option. Especially useful if you have Major League Soccer (MLS) players in your squad. Watt offers solid chemistry options with MLS players, and is a highly cost-effective choice. If you’re not using MLS players, you might want to consider other options.

García:

Part of the World Tour series, García is a male player with balanced stats and good chemistry links. At just 20,000 FC 25 coins, he’s a great value. His 3-star skill moves and 4-star weak foot make him more usable than the previous players, and his stats are generally solid across the board. Highly recommended.

Danjuma:

This card is more expensive, costing 50,000 FC 25 coins and requiring an 85-rated squad. While his stats are good, the price is quite steep. If you have enough untradeable cards to spare, he could be worth it. However, keep in mind that a dynamic Jota UCL card has been confirmed for SBC next week, which might outshine Danjuma in terms of value.

2. High-Value Players Bulk SBCs

If you have a lot of non-tradable low rated cards, maybe you can try these SBC’s (77×2 and 82×3). While the rewards for these two SBC’s are usually lower, the opportunity to use non-tradable low rated cards to get high rated cards (e.g., Darwin Núñez)  is not to be missed!

3. Must-Do SBC of the Week

The Player of the Month – Thuram is arguably the most cost-effective SBC this week. For just one Team of the Week card and an 83-rated squad, you can get a card with 89 PAC, 84 SHO, 85 DRI, and 96 jumping. If you haven’t packed a high-rated ST yet, this SBC is a must-do and a perfect addition to your squad.

4. Early Access Challenge 2

The Early Access Challenge 2 SBC has an extremely high pack return rate. You’ll need players from two different nationalities and the same league to meet the chemistry requirements, which can be easily done using La Liga players. This SBC is highly recommended due to its efficiency and strong rewards.

As the full release of FC 25 approaches, the first week’s SBC content offers Ultimate Edition players valuable opportunities. With resources rolling in, next week’s updates are expected to be even more exciting. Stay tuned for our next Weekly SBC Recap!
